Maintaining full time employment from the age of 15, I have learned a great deal from every person and situation that I have encountered My hourly/ tipped years introduced me to the very core of hospitality including positions as a sever, bartender, busser, bus manager, host, apprentice brewer, and ultimately full management. All of this before the age of 22 At the culmination of my hourly work while in college, I co-founded a metro/ urban living college newspaper the Independent as well as worked full time as Marketing/ Sales Coordinator in Orlando for TooJay's Restaurants. Here under the tutelage of Annie Catz I developed my strong cold call/ creative business development acumen while exploring all the many intricacies of guerrilla/ field marketing which would become one of my areas of greatest strength. After that I spent some very informative time with Aaron Allen of Quantified Marketing Group directing the efforts of their Field Marketing Division. In this role I developed, wrote, and even educated clients on execution of the strategies/ tactics created by me. I also spent a good amount of time working on account management. Following that I was the Brand Manager for a technology based seed start-up branded MaxOut. During my tenure at MaxOut I brought the company from early seed to exit maturation with income stream increases over 300%. Currently, I am looking for new opportunities to use my background in sales, brand and business development, promotions, as well as creative marketing to further the aspirations of whatever partner I am involved with. |
