Attention to detail and passion for quality are what make the difference and are the driver’s at Sergio Velazquez career as an entrepreneur. Originally from Bogota, Colombia Sergio moved into the United States 10 years ago to finish his studies in Industrial design; however, soon after his moved Sergio found that his passion for design was more related to computers than anything else. Ever since then he has made a series of accomplishments that include an Associates in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Computer Animation from Full Sail University.

In 2003, Sergio together with his wife, who happened to be in the Digital Media field—decided to incorporated their own design studio, LAPIZ Design. The result, a company that understands the value of service and delivers unique pieces to help employers and clients develop corporate and brand identities. Despite being a small studio, LAPIZ Design has had the opportunity to successfully help clients such as Boston University, Disney, Dell, Compass Knowledge Group, Arxiel Solar, Florida Division of Emergency Management, Floridays Resort, and Timeshare Partners among others—create, communicate, and deliver unique marketing messages in a clear, strategic and intuitive way.
